Southern Hawker Aeshna cyanea70 viewstaken into the sun from distance using my 500mm lens which resulted in quite unusual colours. Now ID'd as a Southern Hawker becuase: - the size of its antehumeral stripes, the lack of yellow along the costa eliminates Common Hawker, the stripes on the 9th and 10th abdomen segments (rather than spots), & the small size of the anal clasper rules out Migrant Hawker.
