The Mole catcher has been busy97 viewsTaken a few miles down the road fron Newton Marsh, on a rural lane near Kirkham. It's A distressing image but part of country life. Farmers employ Mole-catchers to rid them of moles, which are a significant pest as their tunneling undermines the structure of the field. It's an old country tradition for the mole-catchers to hang the moles they've caught & killed from a fence on the farmers land to show they've been effective at their job.
