Mediterranean Gull Larus melanocephalus Marton Mere nature reserve Blackpool

My first sighting of a Mediterranean Gull, I've probably discounted them as Black headed gulls previously, this one was kindly pointed out to me by a local & very knowledgable birder called Maurice, I'll be keeping a closer look out in future, photographed @ Marton Mere nature reserve Blackpool
